Musical history.

Coming from a large family of musicians, Ron began piano study at the age of five and quickly demonstrated a natural facility for the instrument and a photographic melodic memory which made him stand out to his early teachers and musical peers. After years of intense training at the keyboard which included numerous competitions and recitals per year, Ron shifted focus to the guitar as a teenager and quickly took off running with his new chosen instrument, devouring everything from Chuck Berry and Hendrix to Prince and Robert Johnson and eventually to classical and jazz artists such as Andres Segovia and Wes Montgomery.

After completing a degree in International Studies at Syracuse University in New York, where he initially began his study of the Classical Guitar, Ron went on to complete his musical studies at the Metropolitan University of Denver where he majored in Guitar and Composition.
